SO. I'm sitting in my living room, enjoying the somewhat nice weather with the windows open, and the mailperson comes and delivers shit. I've been waiting for the past two weeks for my SJM CD, Attack on the Pinup Boys DVD and Tree of Heaven boxset to come in the mail. I like getting stuff in the mail.

THE FUCKER DIDN'T EVEN KNOCK ON THE DOOR. Seriously, I'm in the other room, a few feet away from the open front door. But no, they see the our neighbors and assume that it's me taking the dog for a walk.

Can anybody recommend me some music?

Preferably j/k/c/tw related shit, but really, I just want some good tunes.

In return, I give you the following:

YiDA - Shit, I've journaled about him before. HE'S AWESOME. AWESOME AWESOME. Nice on the ears with a good mix of casual rock and ballad type songs. He has three albums out so far and he's the only artist EVAR in which I've liked every single one of their songs.

Epik High - I don't really know what to say other than that the three of them are FUCKING AWESOME. Remapping the Human Soul is my favourite album with songs like Love Love Love, Mr. Doctor, Girl Rock and Fan.

Nell - I love Nell. n_____n I'm still working my way through their discography and haven't heard their earlier stuff but I really like what I've heard so far.

Jaurim - I don't know why I tend to listen to a lot of male vocals, but Jaurim is one of the few bands with female vocals that I really like. Their songs vary in style, some of them cute and easy going while others are more dramatic in feel.

No Brain - Hahahaha, I love No Brain. I don't listen to a lot of punk inspired music but I love No Brain. Some of their stuff tends to sound the same after a while but they're really enjoyable.

WaT - One of the few j-bands I listen to, they have a nice mellow sound with a lot of accoustics. Both of them are familiar faces if you watch a lot of dramas, Teppei has been in Gokusen 2 and Waterboys 2 where Wentz recently started his acting career in Nodame Cantabile SP.

Witches - omg. I love them so much. They're not really well known but I think everyone on the internet has seen There She Is!!, right? Yeah, their music is awesome.

So, Bathhoue was shit. I've sat through a lot of crap movies, a lot, but I couldn't get through Bathhouse. Granted, I knew it would be bad, I had no expectations, but still. STILL. I just could not get through that movie.

I also re watched Summer Vacation 1999. ...I'm serious when I say when I watched it four (five?) years ago I had no clue that the entire cast was female. It seems so obvious now when I watch it. I find what the director says about his casting decision to be lolz. He didn't want to cast boys because he (she?) felt that it would make the movie more sexually driven. Okay.

The films based on or influenced by comics are, in some ways, a response to the rigidity of Japan's social structure. This does not mean, for example, that women who enjoy going to movies about love between gay or androgynous characters, are any the less heterosexual. It is probably more likely that these films offer an escape from lives in which women traditionally conform to a fixed image. Effeminate male characters appeal to young girls because they seem closer to them than other boys or men. The girls can relate to the effeminate male and his gentle ways, while more masculine men may seem mysterious to them.

New layout. :B It's not as bland as the previous one.

I saw Nobody Knows the other day. T___________T THANKS FOR THE ANGST. It was really nice, though. At some points it felt like a documentary because the dialogue between the family was so natural feeling. It's based off of true events, so if you feel like hating humanity for a while, you can read this.

Soulmate is becoming rather enjoyable. Even though I'm up to the fifth episode AND THE LEADING MALE AND FEMALE HAVEN'T EVEN MET. wtf.

Big Bang does a better Coffee Prince parody than Super Junior.

SO I JUST STARTED WATCHING SOULMATE. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE GOOD. DON'T PULL A SHITTY QUE SERA SERA AND GET SHITTY HALFWAY THROUGH THE SERIES.

I've been avoiding dramatic dramas for a while because lately they've just been really disapointing. I've been watching a lot of comedies, like Gokusen... BUT WHO AM I KIDDING. I WANT SOME FUCKING DRAMATIC ANGST.

Also, Soulmate has Kibum's cousin in it. DON'T FAIL ME SUJU BRETHREN.

Though I'm very tempted to start watching Bad Family. But only because of Heechul. :'D

Kim Hye-seong of "High Kick!" and Lee Hyeon-jin of "Kimchi Cheese Smile" will be portraying homosexuals in a movie. Jo In-Seong and Joo Jin-mo have portrayed homosexuals in Director Yoo Ha's movie, but there is great interest in these two, who are starring in an official queer movie.

Kim Hye-seong and Lee Hyeon-jin are the official main characters of the movie "Boy, Meets a Boy", which will start shooting in March. There has been great interest in this movie because Kim Jo Kwang-soo, who gained popularity with his queer movie, "No Regret", wrote the scenario and directed it.

Boy, Meets a Boy is a love story that begins with a boy who meets another boy, who stole his money, on a bus. Kim Hye-seong is Min-soo, who has been robbed, and Lee Hyeon-jin stars as a bad boy.

The producing company plans to donate proceedings to the gay support group, 'Between Friends', which has also planned to participate in the movie production.

There is great expectation to see how Kim Hye-seong and Lee Hyeon-jin, both with promising futures in acting, will act out the almost-taboo topic of homosexual love.
